Dallas Kalakendra

Dallas KalaKendra is a Cultural-Educational organization with an aim to cultivate, promote, present and raise awareness for the various disciplines of Indian Performing Arts in the broader community based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

With its strong and deep roots in Indian cultural arena, Dallas KalaKendra contributes greatly to the growth of Indian performing arts in the United States by bringing in awareness for the rich heritage of India’s performing art forms including music, dance, audio-plays and storytelling in the form of live shows, community programs.

One of the main objectives of Dallas Kalakendra is to bring in opportunities for workshops by experts in the fields of music, dance, stage plays, mimes, radio drama and many other forms of Indian Performing Arts. These workshops are focused to the respective art forms and geared to help and prepare students from all background and age to learn the basics and advanced knowledge on the art forms.
